'Deadpool 2' begins filming with Ryan Reynolds at X-Men's Mansion

'Deadpool 2' has started production.

It's only been a year since Deadpool reviewed the band-free superhero genre and with Ryan Reynolds as its violent and thug starring, but the film was a success and its sequel was not long in coming. Just started filming and where better than at Mansion X.

X House or Xavier Institute for Young Talents is the school where the young mutants of the X-Men franchise go to develop and learn to control their skills. It's one of the most iconic places in the 20th Century Fox superhero franchise. From the 'X-Men' by Bryan Singer, the exteriors of the mansion have been shot at Hatley Castle in Vancouver, Canada. Reynolds's team has gone there to film.

The actor announced the start of filming with a photo on Twitter. There he appears dressed in the costume of his character in front of the Mansion X, lying with the usual carefree of Deadpool. Shortly after that, Rhett Reese, co-writer of the film, confirmed the news: "We've started."

Ryan Reynolds accompanied the publication by referring to a joke from the previous film: "I've dropped by the X-Mansion, a big surprise, no one's home." Although the character of Deadpool belongs to the same universe X-Men, at the moment his films have not crossed with any famous mutant of the previous films and we had to settle for some other easter egg. According to his meta-referential tone, the previous film joked with the subject: Deadpool briefly went to Mansion X and commented on the fact that there was no one in it, as if the film had no budget to call its inhabitants. This time, however, it seems that scenes are being shot in and out of Mansion X, so it will have more importance. So maybe we can see some unexpected cameo, because, as it seems, little by little Deadpool is connecting more with the rest of the films.

The team of 'Deadpool 2'

Alongside Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool will return some of the main characters from the previous installment. Morena Baccarin returns to play Vanessa, the protagonist's partner, and Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic will accompany Reynolds again as the mutants Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus. Leslie Uggams will also return as Blind Al.

Among the new additions to the cast are Josh Brolin in the role of Cable, a mutant son of Cyclops who has traveled from the future armed to the teeth to avoid a catastrophe and Zazie Beetz as Domino, a mutant able to manipulate luck at will . It is also known that Jack Kesy will play the villain of the film but no further details are known. It is rumored that it could be the Irish mutant Black Tom Cassidy. In addition, the Japanese actress Shiori Kutsuna will have a mysterious yet unknown role.

This time he directs David Leitch ('John Wick') from a script by those responsible for the previous installment, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
