Fans of the ‘Transformers’ saga have to be in luck, because their sixth installment could focus on one of the pillars of history: the planet Cybertron. This would be the first time history gave us concrete information about how life was there and how it was the war that devastated it, which means that ‘Transformers 6’ will give us more clues about what happened in the place of origin of Our favorite robots. And Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner has granted an interview for The Hollywood Reporter in which he says they have no director yet.
Michael Bay would no longer be in command of the story, having led the first five installments of the franchise. They are preparing something very big, and Goldner himself has advanced some things: “There is still no director, but I am sure we will be able to meet the scheduled dates.” We have several hundred mythological characters, and people hardly know anything about their home planet. We are full creative process thinking the new story. ” That is, with these statements also confirm the date of its premiere, which was scheduled for June 28, 2019.
In addition to this sixth installment of the main saga, the spin-off of Bumblebee is already underway. Also in this film we will move to the past, at 80 as the average Empire has learned. The fifth installment will give rise to a whole world of possibilities, although they have yet to clarify with which perspective the history of the planet will be treated, which from what we have seen along the tapes, is in quite deplorable conditions.
What do we know about Cybertron?
At the moment, the films have not given us much information about him. It is the place of origin of these robots, which for years developed in a peaceful and fair. Life began with the Spark, the soul of the planet, which was highly valued and coveted by many. In this way, a war began for his possession, leaving everything completely devastated. The only way to return it to life with the recovery of the Spark. That is the premise of the films, and although it has not yet reached theaters, in the trailers of ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ we have been able to see the ruins of a devastated planet, most likely Cybertron. But soon we will discover, and is that the big screen will come next August 4 after having been three years without knowing anything about our favorite robots. Let’s hope that we get some clue as to what we will see in the expected spin-off.
