Last Monday’s filming of Deadpool 2 had to stop because of a tragic accident: the death of one of their action– starters, Joi “SJ” Harris, the specialist behind the dangerous scenes of Zazie Beetz , while filming in Set of Vancouver.
The woman, having successfully repeated the maneuvers in previous attempts, finally lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a window of a business building near Jack Poole Square.
The specialist was not wearing a helmetwhen this happened because in that scene Domino, the character that Beetz plays, would not take it. However, the previous specialist left him one of his that had been made to fit and was placed under the wig, then would not see. But this helmet was not made to fit Harris andthere was no time for them to make one for her.
From Deadline confirms that the team ‘Deadpool 2’, although still affected by the event, has decided to resume filming on Wednesday 16 August, two days after what happened. The film premiere is still scheduled for June 1, 2018.
